Ball Baron Hi-Standard Pinballs

HI-STANDARD:

AISI 52100 chrome steel pinball that meets all requirements as a standard ball. Smooth surface and great polish make this the perfect fit at an economical price. You have to give this a close look to see the difference between the Hi-Standard and the Premium Ninja balls. They are made in the same machines but the Hi-Standard do not spend as much time in the polishers as the Ninjas.

Budget-Friendly Alternative to Ninja

Proudly Made in the USA!

USE IN GAMES WITH MAGNETS: Some games which use magnets will rapidly magnetize the Hi-Standard ball after just a few plays – those we are aware of include Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones (Stern), and Dialed In. Other modern Stern games can cause chrome pinballs including the Hi-Standard ball to become magnetized over time, leading to balls sticking together (usually in the trough). If you suddenly experience drained balls not being “seen” by the game, your balls have become magnetized. If your game has magnetic features, try our Polaris carbon pinballs.

  • Budget-Friendly Choice But Still ULTRA SHINY and MADE IN THE USA!
  • Standard Size & Weight, 1 1/16 Inch & 2.8 Ounces Each
  • MADE IN THE USA!
Ball Baron Ninja Pinballs

NINJA:

Considered the shiniest and most finely polished pinball in the world, the Ninja is a solid chrome standard size/weight pinball that has been hardened and shined to an unprecedented mirror finish. The Ninja ball is not only the shiniest but will last longer before going dull than any other ball.

A must-have for non-magnetic games and works fine in some games with magnets

Ball Baron Polaris Pinballs

POLARIS:

When the magnetic features in your machines demand a different ball.

Polaris carbon pinballs, no matter how much they are professionally polished, do not have the ultra shine of the more expensive Ninja pinball and will have more of a satin finish. The weight and roundness are exactly on spec for a pinball. Chromes are 2.8 oz (80 grams)and carbons are 2.9 oz (81 grams). Carbon balls are also softer in nature than chrome balls and will scratch faster than chrome. Please take this into consideration if you have become used to the look of the Ninja or Hi-Standard chrome ball because carbon, having a different molecular structure, won’t measure up to the chrome balls in appearance but will give you much longer lasting play in a machine with magnets.

Must-have ball for games with heavy magnet use

ABOUT MAGNETISM: If a machine has aggressive magnet usage, there is still a small chance the ball may become magnetized over time. Polaris balls are designed to resist this magnetization far longer than Ninja and Hi-Standard balls. However, be aware that some machines feature long periods of sustained magnet usage and no ball can stay totally ‘neutral’ forever.
